Job Overview:
We are exclusively retained by our client, a fast-growing hair care brand, to hire an E-commerce Lead who will drive growth across marketplaces and owned digital platforms. The ideal candidate comes with strong exposure to e-commerce sales, deep understanding of online consumer behavior, and hands-on experience with leading marketplaces.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and execute marketplace strategies to maximize visibility, traffic, and conversions.
- Manage key relationships with marketplace account managers, category teams, and platform partners.
- Work closely with supply chain and operations to ensure healthy fill rates, inventory management, and smooth order execution.
- Optimize product listings, keywords, pricing, and promotions to enhance discoverability and sales.
- Track, analyze, and report on sales performance, campaign effectiveness, and ROI.
- Collaborate with marketing, brand, and creative teams to deliver integrated campaigns aligned with brand goals.
- Keep a pulse on category trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activity to drive market share growth.
Requirements:
- 5-8 years of experience in e-commerce with proven exposure to marketplaces.
- Strong background in FMCG, beauty, or consumer brands preferred.
- Candidates from marketplace category teams (Amazon, Nykaa, Flipkart, etc.) are welcome.
- Strong analytical mindset with comfort in handling data and deriving insights.
- Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
- Passion for beauty/hair care and eagerness to build a fast-scaling consumer brand.
