Job Description:
As a Senior Manager, Business Development at Easebuzz, you will be a key driver of our continued growth, responsible for expanding our market presence and securing new strategic partnerships.
You will leverage your extensive experience in the payments industry to identify opportunities, develop compelling sales strategies, and lead a high-performing team (based on performance).
Key Responsibilities:
Market Leadership & Strategy:
- Deeply understand the market landscape, identify unique selling propositions (USPs) of Easebuzz products, and translate them into compelling value propositions.
- Lead market intelligence efforts, analyze data trends, and develop robust strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed growth and profitability targets.
- Formulate and execute comprehensive sales plans, tactics, and profit targets.
- Program manage cross-functional initiatives to ensure adherence to SLAs and support various marketing activities.
Business Growth & Acquisition:
- Exhibit strong "hunter" instincts to identify, prospect, and acquire new organizations as clients and strategic partners.
- Generate high-quality leads, convert prospects, and secure referrals from every client interaction.
- Assume overall responsibility for end-to-end sales, account management, and sales strategy.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with an existing portfolio of key clients, ensuring revenue maximization and client retention.
Team Leadership & Performance:
- Based on performance, take on a team handling role, demonstrating strong team management skills and fostering a collaborative environment.
- Achieve aggressive monthly sales targets assigned by the organization.
- Analyze sales performance based on defined KPIs and implement improvements to optimize results.
Industry Expertise & Compliance:
- Possess in-depth knowledge of the Payments and Settlement Act (RBI), Merchant Category Codes (MCC), PCI-DSS Compliance, Comodo SSL, and Nodal and Escrow Accounts.
Client Satisfaction & Financial Acumen:
- Strive to deliver exceptional client satisfaction, ensuring account plans align with client objectives and interests to exceed expectations.
- Manage financial aspects of accounts to ensure plans are met or exceeded in both growth and profitability.
- Develop financial plans and address client needs while consistently outperforming and exceeding prior profitability and revenues.
What We Are Looking For:
- A proven track record of 5+ years of relevant experience in the digital payment space, specifically within leading tier-1 payment companies or banks (e.g., Razorpay, Cashfree, PayU, Billdesk, HDFC, ICICI, Paytm).
- Demonstrated experience in growing companies and leading dynamic, fast-moving teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with various stakeholders.
- An all-rounder with exposure to extracurricular activities, reflecting a well-rounded and dynamic personality.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a long-term dedication to business development for the company
