We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to oversee accounting and finance operations of our client.

The ideal candidate will have a strong command of QuickBooks, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and excellent communication skills.

You will manage the accounting team, ensure compliance with company policies, and play a crucial role in financial reporting and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee daily accounting operations using QuickBooks.

- Lead and manage the finance team for the India office.

- Review team output, provide training, and supervise staff.

- Maintain precise financial records and prepare financial statements.

- Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing and payments.

- Conduct bank and account reconciliations regularly.

- Prepare and analyze financial reports (monthly, quarterly, annually).

- Ensure adherence to accounting standards and internal policies.

- Assist with tax preparation and filing.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes.

- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.

- Oversee management of fixed assets, including monthly depreciation and lease amortization.

Requirements:

- Education: CMA or CA with a bachelor's degree in commerce (B.Com).

- Experience: Over 5 years of accounting experience (QuickBooks proficiency preferred).

- At least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory accounting role.

- Experience in managing accounting teams, ideally for offshore clients in the US or Canada.

- Strong foundation in accounting principles, financial statements, and reconciliation.

- Proficient in Excel and other accounting software.

- Excellent English communication skills (both written and spoken).

- Willingness to work in the US Eastern Standard Time zone (night shift).

Preferred Skills:

Prior experience with international or US-based transportation clients.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Proven capability to lead a team of 6-8 and manage multiple priorities.

Analytical thinker with a proactive problem-solving approach.
