Job Summary:

- The Social Media Manager will oversee the planning, implementation, and management of our social media strategy.

- This role involves managing a team of social media professionals, ensuring timely content delivery, and maintaining high-quality standards in all social media activities.

- The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a keen understanding of social media trends, and a strategic mindset to drive brand engagement and awareness.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Management:

- Overall Team Oversight: Manage the daily operations of the social media team, ensuring timely delivery of requirements to Points of Contact (POCs), campaign managers, and direct reporting authorities.

- Work Prioritization: Prioritize tasks and ensure timely content delivery to the design team to facilitate efficient workflow for client projects.

- Daily Updates: Collect and review daily work reports from social media managers to ensure smooth operations.

- Task Distribution: Effectively manage and distribute team tasks based on project demands and team capacity.

Reporting:

- Daily Reporting: Ensure all team members fill out daily reports and understand the reporting format; review reports for accurate work assignments.

- Monthly Performance Review: Analyze monthly reports and implement a reward system for top performers in coordination with upper management.

Escalation Management:

- Issue Resolution: Address delivery, content, and quality escalations from the POC team, graphic team, clients, and campaign managers.

- Proactive Management: Prevent potential escalations by regularly monitoring the progress of work for each associate and content lead.

- Coordination: Facilitate effective communication and coordination between Social Media Managers and other departments such as SEO, graphic design, and video production.

Grievance Handling:

- Conflict Resolution: Address team grievances related to work alignment, graphics, and other concerns promptly.

- Feedback Sessions: Conduct timely reviews and discussions with the team to address any issues or concerns raised.

Work Review & Monitoring:

- Performance Review: Conduct daily and weekly reviews of social media posts, content, and strategies, providing timely feedback for improvements.

- Strategic Guidance: Provide regular feedback and strategic input to enhance work quality and effectiveness.

Training & Guidance:

- Team Development: Train and guide the team on strategy development, current content trends, and overall workflow processes.

Audits & Strategic Inputs:

- Audit Preparation: Compile and deliver audit documents for brand pitches on time to the designated coordinator and management.

- Strategic Contributions: Develop strategy inputs for new and existing brands as needed.

Trials & Assessments:

- Candidate Assessment: Oversee the assessment of Social Media Managers and content writers as per HR requirements.

- Trial Conduct: Ensure smooth execution of trials for Social Media Managers and User-Generated Content (UGC) roles.

- Feedback Collection: Share precise feedback on candidate profiles to facilitate effective hiring decisions.

Additional Responsibilities:

- Research Assignments: Undertake research tasks as assigned by upper management.

- Urgent Tasks: Manage urgent graphic, content, and print work as directed by management.

- Special Projects: Address urgent escalations, add-ons, and extra projects assigned by management.

- Meetings & Appraisals.

- Regular Reviews: Conduct regular team reviews and discussions with management.

- Appraisal Discussions: Facilitate timely appraisal discussions to ensure team members receive feedback on their performance.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.

- Proven experience in social media management, content creation, and team leadership.

- Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Proficiency in analytics tools and social media management software.
