Purpose of Role :
- The eCommerce Marketing Lead will play a pivotal role in overseeing the online sales and digital presence of the business.
- This leadership position is responsible for managing the brand's image online, enhancing product visibility, and driving sales through digital channels.
- The ideal candidate will strategically optimize the online shopping experience, elevate sales performance, and ensure that e-commerce strategies align with overall corporate goals, ultimately increasing customer satisfaction and retention.
Key Outputs :
- Lead the development and execution of comprehensive e-commerce strategies in alignment with overall business objectives.
- Oversee the management and continual improvement of the online store, ensuring that the layout, positioning, and offerings resonate with customer behavior and preferences.
- Analyze market trends and lead the adaptation of strategies to effectively compete with other brands in the industry.
- Collaborate with IT and Marketing departments to integrate advanced technologies that enhance the online customer experience.
- Direct the management of digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels to drive brand awareness and revenue growth.
- Monitor website traffic and customer feedback to assess responses to site updates updates, new product introductions, and other changes.
- Optimize website search engine performance (SEO), ensuring high rankings in relevant searches to attract more visitors.
- Lead and mentor a team of professionals responsible for digital content, inventory management, and customer service.
- Generate and present reports on e-commerce activity and performance to senior management, proposing innovative strategies to enhance results.
Key Experiences: What experiences are key to success in this job?
- A minimum of 8-9 years of experience in e-commerce management or a related field, with a proven track record of driving online sales and enhancing brand presence.
- Master's degree in Business Administration from an accredited institution.
- Professional certifications in digital marketing, e-commerce, or project management, such as Certified E-commerce Professional (CEP) or Google Analytics Certification, are advantageous.
- Strong understanding of web design, web analysis, and SEO best practices.
- Proficiency in CRM software and digital marketing tools and techniques is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide a team towards achieving e-commerce objectives.
