Role Summary
As the Manager Global Communications, you will be the strategic and executional owner of DTDCs international brand narrative.
From India to ISJ markets across the US, UK, UAE, Canada, Australia, Singapore, and Malaysia, this role will define how DTDC shows up globally across digital platforms, partner communication, campaigns, market-specific storytelling, and brand alignment.
You will work closely with the Head of Marketing to drive positioning, adapt central communication for regional relevance, and ensure brand consistency across markets.
You will be an individual contributor, collaborating with DTDCs internal creative team for design/content and with international teams and partners for market-level implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
Global Communication Strategy
- Develop and execute a cohesive international brand and communication strategy aligned with DTDCs Vision 2030 and global business goals.
- Localize DTDCs brand story, offerings, and tone for each ISJ market based on audience personas (e.
- students, SMEs, diaspora-led D2C brands, B2B clients).
- Build positioning for DTDC WorldWyde and other international products/services.
Market-Specific Engagement & Campaigns
- Plan and launch high-impact digital campaigns across countries, ensuring cultural, regulatory, and behavioral relevance.
- Work with local teams to roll out activations, co-branded campaigns, or seasonal promotions.
- Own the annual international marketing calendarmajor events, seasonal moments, diaspora touchpoints, etc.
Platform & Asset Management
- Create and update central brand assets (brochures, PPTs, case studies, mailers, landing pages, etc.
) with global usability.
- Coordinate with the creative/content team for design and messaging needs across markets.
- Ensure alignment across website content, SEO/SEM, and social media in different geographies.
Partner & Channel Support
- Collaborate with DTDCs international partners and agents to empower them with on-brand marketing kits, toolkits, and go-to-market decks.
- Build email marketing, WhatsApp engagement, and content workflows for cross-border engagement and education.
- Drive digital visibility and awareness of DTDC services among global Indian consumers and SMBs.
Performance & Optimization
- Monitor and measure effectiveness of communication across campaigns, geographies, and audiences.
- Identify market gaps and propose communication strategies to improve local traction.
- Drive consistency while allowing local flexibilityensuring a localized face, global soul.
Must-Have Experience:
- 812 years in global marketing, international communications, or brand strategy.
- Strong understanding of cross-border communication nuances and market behaviors.
- Proven ability to manage global brand portfolios with minimal supervision.
- Experience working with creative and digital teams for asset creation and deployment.
- Excellent writing, stakeholder management, and campaign planning skills.
