About the Department: Global Generics India (GGI)
The Global Generics India (GGI) business has been a cornerstone of Dr. Reddys journey since 1986. Today, it stands among the top 10 pharmaceutical companies in the Indian Pharma Market (IPM). GGI leads the way in several therapeutic areas such as oncology, anti-allergy, and gastrointestinal diseases, and is driven by innovation, digital transformation, and a strong customer-first mindset.
Position Summary:
We are looking for a Senior Specialist to join our Global Generics India team. This role requires an experienced professional who can independently lead key initiatives, ensure excellence in execution, and collaborate cross-functionally to support strategic objectives.
You will play a critical role in driving operational excellence, product lifecycle management, and market competitiveness across our generics portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead initiatives to optimize product performance, market reach, and compliance across key therapeutic areas.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, supply chain, regulatory, marketing, and sales to ensure smooth product launches and lifecycle management.
- Drive data-based decision making by analyzing market trends, competitor performance, and product data.
- Monitor regulatory and quality compliance for existing and new products.
- Support the planning and execution of product development roadmaps.
- Contribute to pricing, positioning, and brand strategy for assigned products or therapeutic areas.
- Work closely with digital and analytics teams to build and track performance dashboards and KPIs.
- Ensure timely reporting, documentation, and stakeholder communication.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Business, or related field.
- 6 to 10 years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
- Strong understanding of Indian Pharma Market (IPM) and generics landscape.
- Experience in cross-functional coordination, including product, supply chain, regulatory, and commercial functions.
- Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and prioritize tasks effectively.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in product lifecycle management or marketing in generics.
- Exposure to therapeutic areas such as oncology, GI, or allergy.
- Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis tools.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and strategic thinking skills.
