Job Purpose:
As a Senior Manager / Specialist within the Global Generics India (GGI) business, you will play a key role in driving operational excellence, portfolio growth, and cross-functional coordination across therapeutic areas. Key Responsibilities:
Product Strategy & Lifecycle Management:
- Lead and manage end-to-end lifecycle of assigned products from launch planning, regulatory coordination, supply chain readiness to demand management and market performance tracking.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with key stakeholders including R&D, Regulatory, Supply Chain, Quality, Marketing, Sales and Digital Teams to ensure timely execution of business priorities.
Market Analysis & Forecasting:
- Monitor market dynamics, competitor landscape, and therapy trends to identify growth opportunities and support decision-making through data-driven insights.
Project Management:
- Drive key initiatives aligned with business strategy, ensuring timely execution, risk management, and clear communication with internal stakeholders.
Compliance & Governance:
- Ensure that all product and marketing activities are in compliance with regulatory, medical, legal, and ethical standards.
Digital Integration:
- Partner with digital and analytics teams to design and implement performance dashboards and innovative digital tools to enhance brand or product reach and efficiency.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor's or Masters degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Business Administration, or related field.
Experience:
- 6 to 12 years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry (preferably in India Generics).
- Strong domain knowledge of therapeutic areas such as oncology, anti-allergy, or gastrointestinal diseases is a plus.
- Demonstrated experience in cross-functional project or portfolio management.
Technical/Functional Competencies:
- Strong understanding of Indian Pharma Market (IPM)
- Experience in new product launches, brand lifecycle, or commercial excellence
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and basic analytics tools
- Exposure to SAP / CRM / Business Intelligence tools (preferred)

- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
- High ownership mindset and ability to manage ambiguity
