Tech Business Development & Customer Success Gen AI Lead
Job Purpose:
- As the Tech Business Development & Customer Success Lead, you will be at the forefront of driving adoption, expansion, and long-term value for our GenAI solutions across banking, NBFC, and broader financial services.
- This role sits at the intersection of sales, product, and strategic partnerships, requiring a balance of deep industry knowledge, strong relationship-building skills, and the ability to guide clients through complex technology solutions. This is an individual leadership role, with a reporting to the Co-Founder & MD, wherein the individual is expected to work across teams and verticals.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Account Management
- Own and grow relationships with senior decision-makers (CXOs, Business/Product Heads, CIOs, CFOs) within BFSI organizations.
- Develop and execute comprehensive account strategies to achieve revenue growth, driving up-sell and cross-sell of existing product offerings.
2. Pre-Sales Leadership
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their business needs and mapping them to relevant GenAI solutions.
- Collaborate with internal Product and Technical teams to craft compelling demos, proof-of-concepts, and proposals that address specific client pain points.
- Lead technical and commercial discussions, negotiating contract terms and ensuring mutual long-term success.
3. Customer Success & Engagement
- Oversee the customer onboarding process, ensuring seamless integration and adoption of GenAI solutions.
- Monitor customer usage, satisfaction, and ROI; proactively address any challenges to maintain high engagement and retention.
- Serve as the main point of contact for client escalations, forging strong relationships through regular business reviews and strategic planning sessions.
4. Revenue & Pipeline Management
- Meet or exceed individual and team sales targets, contributing significantly to the organization's overall growth.
- Drive pipeline generation, manage forecasts, and maintain clear reporting on opportunities across the sales funnel.
- Identify and explore new avenues for market expansion, forging strategic partnerships where relevant.
5. Collaboration
- Work cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, and Data Science teams to refine offerings, stay ahead of market trends, and align product roadmaps with customer demands.
- Share market insights, competitive intelligence, and feedback with internal
stakeholders to influence product strategy and roadmap.
6. Thought Leadership & Market Advocacy
- Stay updated on GenAI trends, BFSI regulatory landscapes, and emerging technologies.
- Represent DMI Algorithms at key industry forums, conferences, and events to elevate brand presence and thought leadership.
Experience & Expectations:
- Experience: 10+ years in enterprise sales, pre-sales, or customer success roles, preferably with BFSI-focused SaaS, AI/ML, or advanced analytics solutions.
- Domain Expertise: Deep understanding of the BFSI ecosystem (Banks, NBFCs, FinTechs), including digital transformation trends and regulatory frameworks.
- Technical Aptitude: Comfort with AI/ML concepts, ability to engage in high-level architectural discussions and translate technical solutions into strategic business outcomes.
- Strategic Relationship Management: Proven track record of building and nurturing executive-level relationships, negotiating large deals, and driving client success.
- Communication & Presentation: Exceptional communication skills-both written and verbal-enabling you to deliver compelling pitches and articulate clear value propositions.
- Entrepreneurial Mindset: Ability to adapt in a dynamic startup environment, demonstrating agility, resourcefulness, and a solutions-oriented approach.
- Open to Travel: The incumbent will be expected to travel both within India and South-east Asia, Japan and United States.
