The ideal candidate will lead initiatives to generate and engage with business partners to build the new SAAS product line (DistaX) for the company. This candidate will be focused and have strong communication skills. They should be able to think critically when making plans and have a demonstrated ability to execute a particular strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify Partnership Opportunities:
- Research, identify, and qualify potential business partnerships for DistaX.
- Seek out opportunities for collaboration, joint ventures, or other strategic alliances that can enhance business growth and expansion.
- Develop New Business Relationships:
- Build and nurture relationships with new and existing business partners.
- Act as the primary point of contact for partners, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Work closely with sales, marketing, and product teams to align new partnerships with company strategies.
- Maintain Existing Business:
- Manage and strengthen current relationships to ensure continued growth and satisfaction.
- Negotiate and renew contracts with existing partners, ensuring both parties remain aligned with mutual goals.
- Critical Planning and Execution:
- Develop and execute business development strategies that align with the companys overall objectives.
- Plan and assess projects to ensure their success, identifying potential risks and proactively addressing challenges.
- Continuously evaluate market trends and business performance to refine strategies.
- Reporting and Feedback:
- Provide regular reports to senior management on partnership performance, opportunities, and challenges.
- Track and measure key metrics related to business growth and partnership success.
- Use feedback from partners and internal teams to refine business development efforts.
- Market and Product Understanding:
- Stay up to date on market trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape in the SAAS industry, particularly in relation to DistaX.
- Develop a deep understanding of the product and effectively communicate its value proposition to partners and prospects.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: Masters degree or equivalent experience in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
- Experience: 3-4 years of experience in business development, sales, or a similar role in a SAAS or technology company.
- Strong Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Ability to effectively communicate at all levels, both internally and externally.
- Proven Success: Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful business development strategies.
- Strategic Thinking: Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to plan and execute long-term business strategies.
- Goal-Oriented: Focused, self-motivated, and results-driven with a strong sense of urgency and accountability.
- Project Management Skills: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and successful completion.
- Technical Knowledge (SAAS): Familiarity with SAAS product lines and business models is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with or in the technology or SAAS industry.
- Understanding of DistaX or similar products and services.
- Familiarity with CRM tools, sales platforms, and business development software.
