About the Role :

Were looking for a dynamic and strategic Shared Service Center Director to launch and lead our new Shared Service Center in India. In this high-impact role, you'll oversee middle and back-office service delivery across Finance, HR, IT, and Customer Service, ensuring the centre operates efficiently, delivers measurable value, and aligns with our global goals.

What Youll Do :

Strategic Leadership & Center Setup :

- Develop and execute the strategic plan for the India Shared Service Center in alignment with global and EMEA business priorities.

- Lead all aspects of setup, including site readiness, talent acquisition, technology, and transition of services.

- Oversee the transition of middle- and back-office processes from external partners and internal teams to the India SSC.

- Identify opportunities to optimize processes, reduce costs, and improve service delivery through the shared services model.

- Conduct ongoing assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of shared services strategies and implement enhancements.

Service Delivery & Performance Management :

- Oversee day-to-day operations across multiple functions: Finance, HR, IT, and Customer Service delivering support to EMEA business owners.

- Implement performance frameworks with KPIs and SLAs to ensure accountability, transparency, and consistent delivery.

- Use data-driven insights and benchmarking to continuously improve operations.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement :

- Partner with global leaders and department heads to ensure shared services strategies support evolving business needs.

- Build strong, trusted relationships across teams and geographies.

- Serve as the key point of contact for global stakeholders on India SSC operations.

- Build and lead a high-performing team grounded in our core values.

What Youll Bring- :

- Bachelors degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field (MBA preferred).

- Overall 15 20 years of experience with 12 years of experience, including proven success leading and scaling global shared services across multiple functions.

- Strong financial acumen and experience managing P&L and cost optimization.

- Solid understanding of shared services frameworks, business process transformation, and automation technologies.

- Experience working in a global, matrixed environment with exposure to diverse teams and time zones.

- Ability to think strategically, execute tactically, and inspire teams.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
