
Job Description:
Technical Leadership:
- Deep understanding of Salesforce architecture, security model, configuration, and customization.
- Expertise in Salesforce CPQ, Sales Cloud, and Service & Experience Cloud.
- Hands-on experience with Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and other Salesforce technologies.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate Salesforce with other enterprise systems and applications (e.g., Product, ERP, CRM, marketing automation).
- Understanding of integration solutions using APIs, middleware, and other integration technologies.
- Lead Salesforce-related activities during M&A processes, including due diligence, data migration, system integration, and user training.
- Develop strategies for integrating Salesforce systems and data to create a unified platform.
Stakeholder Management:
- Build strong relationships with key internal stakeholders, including business users, IT leaders, and executives.
- Proactively identify and address potential issues and risks.
- Create a roadmap for Salesforce adoption and modernization.
- Manage relationships with Salesforce and other relevant vendors (like AppExchange packages etc.)
Team Leadership:
- Develop and execute a long-term Salesforce strategy aligned with the organization's business objectives.
- Recruit, hire, and develop a talented team of Salesforce professionals.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement.
- Negotiate contracts and licensing agreements.
DevOps and Release Management:
- Oversee the entire Salesforce development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment.
- Implement robust DevOps practices, including continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD).
- Manage code quality, testing, and deployment processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth releases and minimize downtime.
What You Need For This Position:
Skills & Experience:
Salesforce Proficiency:
- Expertise in Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud.
- Deep understanding of the Salesforce Security Model.
Salesforce DevOps:
- Experience with release management and sandbox management in Salesforce.
Team Management:
- Proven ability to manage a mix of full-time employees (FTE) and contractors effectively.
Technical Experience:
- Extensive experience (17+ years) in the Salesforce ecosystem.
- History of managing development and engineering teams.
- Experience running multiple Salesforce orgs lifecycles across 1 or more past job experiences.
- Experience with customer-facing Experience Cloud websites.
- Experience managing the lifecycle of applications outside of Salesforce.
