Roles & Responsibilities:.
- Screen, interview, onboard and manage employees to develop and run a high-performing, motivated team of data - scientists and data engineers who demonstrate the client values.
- Establish, prioritize and manage the team's Sprint process for work allocation using agile methodology and ensure the work is well connected with the outcomes desired for the use cases.
- Ensure team is following technical best practices in building, maintaining and enhancing scalable predictive models, including code version control, data pipeline management, deployment, and documentation.
- Stay connected to internal and external new emerging technologies, and proactively make recommendations for their use where significant impact can be realized.
- Establish close collaboration with local GPS and IT functional data science and data engineering experts.
- Collaborate with USA and Europe based PD team members and stakeholders.
- Experience and/or ability to learn various techniques that will be applied such as machine learning, data science, computer vision, artificial intelligence, statistics, and/or applied mathematics.
- Readily work hours that provide sufficient overlap with standard east coast US working hours.
