Director - IT Transition & Transformation

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Transition and Transformation Director to lead large-scale IT transformations, including application and infrastructure delivery, migrations, and modernization initiatives. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in orchestrating complex transition programs across hybrid environments (on-prem, cloud, and multi-cloud), and be capable of aligning technology delivery with business objectives to drive value and performance.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead end-to-end IT transition and transformation programs including application portfolio migration, infrastructure modernization, and service delivery transformation.

- Define and own transformation strategy, roadmap, governance structures, and execution plans.

- Collaborate with senior stakeholders (CIO, CTO, Business Heads) to align transformation goals with business needs.

- Manage the delivery of critical IT infrastructure projects including data center migration, cloud adoption (AWS, Azure, GCP), network upgrades, and security architecture changes.

- Oversee application migration and re-platforming efforts, ensuring minimal business disruption and alignment with target architecture.

- Lead multi-disciplinary teams including internal staff, third-party vendors, and systems integrators.

- Ensure adherence to compliance, security, risk management, and service continuity standards.

- Monitor KPIs and performance metrics to track progress, identify risks, and drive corrective actions.

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring transparency, communication, and effective change management.

- Foster a culture of innovation, agility, and continuous improvement.

- Exp in IT infrastructure including servers, networks, and storage .

- Exp in RFP responses related to managed services engagement.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

- 15+ years of IT experience with at least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing large-scale IT transitions and transformations.

- Proven experience managing application and infrastructure delivery and migration projects.

- Strong understanding of modern infrastructure (cloud, hybrid, virtualization, networks) and enterprise applications.

- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

- Deep knowledge of ITIL, TOGAF, PMP, or similar frameworks and certifications (preferred).

- Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.

- Ability to manage budgets, resources, risks, and schedules in complex, dynamic environments.

Preferred Experience :

- Experience in regulated industries (e.g.,Insurance is a plus.

- M&A or divestiture-related transition experience is an advantage.

- Familiarity with Agile/DevOps practices is a plus.

- Proficiency in ITIL and IT service mgmt frame work
