Director - Engineering - IT

- We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Director of Engineering to lead our engineering organization.

- This role is responsible for driving technology strategy, leading high-performing teams, and delivering scalable, secure, and innovative solutions that align with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide strategic leadership and vision for the engineering function, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

- Build, lead, and mentor high-performing engineering teams across multiple domains.

- Oversee end-to-end software development lifecycle, ensuring timely and quality delivery.

- Partner with Product, Design, and Business stakeholders to define and execute technology roadmaps.

- Establish engineering best practices, coding standards, and scalable architectural frameworks.

- Drive innovation, adoption of new technologies, and continuous improvement in processes and systems.

- Manage budgets, resource planning, and vendor/partner relationships.

- Ensure systems and platforms are secure, reliable, and compliant with industry standards.

- Represent the engineering function in leadership discussions and executive forums.

Qualifications & Experience:

- 12-18 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5+ years in senior engineering leadership roles.

- Proven experience in scaling teams, platforms, and products in high-growth environments.

- Strong expertise in modern technology stacks, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), and distributed systems.

- Deep understanding of engineering practices including CI/CD, DevOps, microservices, and agile delivery.

- Exceptional leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
