The Purpose of This Role :.
This is a senior position in our organization and requires strong execution, communication, and analytical abilities.
This role works closely with multiple stakeholders globally and locally Customer's business, Engineering, Architecture and Operations Teams.
Drive high standards on quality, delivering solutions on time and within budgeted cost.
Candidate in recent times has been hands-on in Java Enterprise technologies on both user interface and middleware frameworks.
Value You Will Deliver :.
l- Build and sustain a product engineering team.
l- Work with cross locational team to build functional and high performance products in Agile Scrum.
l- Be responsible for guiding and leading product discovery, backlog grooming, execution, monitoring, and assigned features/ project(s) to keep on schedule and on budget.
l- Responsible for ramping up the quality engineering team.
l- Monitor projects on an ongoing basis, evaluating progress and quality, managing issue resolution process, and taking corrective action as necessary.
l- Responsible for guiding the team to build and test the code for predictable quality and perform proactive activities to keep the services up and running in preproduction and production environments.
Our Ideal Candidate comes with :.
l- Overall experience not exceeding 20+ years building large systems, key program delivery across multiple geographically disburse teams.
l- Experience includes at least 5 years' in full lifecycle product engineering services (Core Banking/Transaction Banking/Payments/Healthcare Experience preferred).
Functional Competency :.
l- IT Software Development, Digital Solutions, Digital Transformation background are mandatory.
l- Sound understanding of technology & of software development methodologies especially as relating to developing custom software for customers.
l- A proven and consistent track record of meeting revenue targets.
Technical Competency :.
l- Possess and Apply knowledge of multiple UI and Java Enterprise frameworks.
l- Owns and is accountable for the design and development of a product or major product sub-system.
l- Analyze project risks, issues, costs, and benefits and make relevant recommendations to business and IT leadership.
l- Provide and implement action plans to mitigate risk when applicable.
l- Motivates and mentors the team.
