Director - Delivery
A growing new age technology firm is seeking to hire the Director Delivery
Responsibilities:
Accountability of the delivery for an area:
- Managed Delivery in line with the Delivery Excellence framework
- Set up and manage governance of delivery across unit
- Identify the potential risks and gaps and manage recovery plan
- Manage and mentor any Red projects to green
Transformation of Delivery:
- Working with practice heads Identify transformation opportunities in delivery
- Set transformation goals and track to closure
Customer management:
- Ensure we are delivering to the customer contracts and expectations
- Measure and manage the CSAT related to delivery
- Showcase transformation to clients leading to customer delight
- Participate and drive QBR from delivery perpective
Pre-Sales:
- Support Marketing and Sales with case studies
- Support pre-sales team with solutioning and estimation from Delivery teams
Manage Talent pool and bench:
- Manage forecasts working with CSM and sales teams
- Work with HR to ensure we have the optimal bench based on forecasts
- Work with PMO and Operations to ensure optimal bench
- Accountable for Topline for the unit under your ownership
- Ensure no loss of revenue from existing portfolio
- Work with CSM and Sales to farm and grow the account and deliver to targets
Accountable for Gross Margins of Projects:
- Ensure that the project delivers to the margin targets
- Manages a margin improvement plan
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Overall 18 to 24 years of experience in IT Services.
- Has played a delivery head role
- Good experience in technology with a good spread across technologies and domains.
- Should have a good appreciation of technology including Cloud native development, Quality Assurance, Data, ITSM and awareness of newer technologies like GenAI, RPA.
- Has stayed conversant with modern technologies and frameworks if not hands on.
- Onsite customer experience for atleast 2+ years
- Ability to work effectively in a matrix organization in a deadline-driven environment
- Established relationship building and management skills
- Experience communicating with C-level executives,
- Good exposure to managing business metrics around utilization, profitability, bench management.
