Position Overview:
-The Business Central Practice Director will be responsible for overseeing the overall operations, strategic direction, and growth of the Business Central practice within the organization.
- This individual will work closely with executive leadership, sales teams, project management, and consulting teams to deliver innovative ERP solutions that align with client needs and business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Strategy:
- Develop and implement a strategic plan to grow and enhance the Business Central practice.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Business Central consultants, project managers, and other team members.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering expertise in Business Central and helping them optimize their ERP solutions.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to align practice objectives with the company's overall business goals.
Client Engagement & Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Lead pre-sales discussions and presentations to prospective clients.
- Provide high-level guidance and problem-solving expertise during project delivery.
- Oversee client success post-implementation to ensure the highest level of service and satisfaction.
Operational Excellence:
- Ensure smooth execution of Business Central implementations from discovery through to post-go-live support.
- Drive the continuous improvement of business processes and operational efficiency within the practice.
- Develop best practices, standards, and methodologies for the delivery of Business Central projects.
- Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the practice's success.
Team Development & Resource Management:
- Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture within the team.
- Recruit, train, and retain top talent within the Business Central practice.
- Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and drive professional development for team members.
Financial Management:
- Develop and manage the practice's budget, ensuring profitability and resource optimization.
- Drive business development and sales efforts for new and existing clients, ensuring revenue growth.
- Participate in contract negotiations and pricing strategies for Business Central projects.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, Information Technology, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in ERP consulting or project management, with a focus on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
- Proven track record of successfully leading and managing an ERP practice or team, including overseeing multiple complex Business Central implementations.
- Strong understanding of Business Central functionality, architecture, and capabilities.
- In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve common goals.
- A customer-focused mindset, with a demonstrated ability to build long-term client relationships
