Role Overview:

We are looking for a Data Scientist (AI/ML Developer) to join our Bangalore or Mumbai team. The role focuses on credit and fraud risk analytics within the retail banking space.

- You will design, develop, and implement machine learning models, statistical models, and scorecards that drive smarter decision-making for financial institutions.

Responsibilities & Requirements:

- Up to 3 years of AI/ML/ data science experience with exposure to credit or fraud risk in retail banking/financial services.

- Strong quantitative foundation - B.Tech/M.Tech or B.Sc/M.Sc in Maths, Statistics, Computer Science, or Operations Research

- Solid proficiency in Python and SQL; experience in handling large datasets.

- Hands-on experience in building and deploying ML/statistical models or scorecards.

- Ability to translate business problems into AI/ML frameworks.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
