Reporting to: Associate Director - M&A

Experience Required :

- 6+ years of front-end M&A transaction execution experience at a reputed IB firm

- Candidates must have a minimum of 3 prior M&A deal closures.

- Corporate finance and Private placement experience in addition to the M&A experience will be given weightage.

- Please note, KPO/Research/Equity Research / Merchant banking profiles will not be considered

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead end-to-end M&A transaction execution individually or under the guidance of the Deal Lead

- Ensuring preparation of high-quality collaterals including financial model, IM, Teasers, competition benchmarking, valuation comps, etc.

- Lead coordination of various due diligence processes (tax, financial, legal, etc.), investor/client calls & meetings

- Effectively manage communication between founders, investors, legal teams, and financial advisors

- Owning the finalisation of Term Sheet and Deal Docs in coordination with Investor / Buyer's counsel/advisors

- Owning the deal closure processes in coordination with the Investor / Buyer's counsel/advisors, Company CS/finance team

- Identify potential acquisition targets through market research, networking, and industry analysis.

- Assist in Business Development activities towards transaction sourcing- This would include pitch presentation, deal ideation, ability to spot value accretive business combinations and ability to present the same in presentations.

- Candidates having exposure to multiple sectors across their experience in terms of pitching, deal execution and closures would be preferred.

- Stay abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and competitive landscape to identify new opportunities for growth.

- Conduct market research and analysis to support strategic decision-making processes.

- Sector Focus: The role is sector agnostic and the candidate should be able to multi task among sectors , clients ( Buy and sell side) and various role across the Advisory value chain.

- The Candidate will get overtime a couple of resources ( 2 junior team members) who would assist in secondary research, meeting call notes preparation and other supporting activities in managing the execution deliverables.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field; MBA preferred.

- Proven track record of successfully managing and executing M&A transactions.

- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines.
