Design Manager - Electrical

- We are seeking a highly skilled Design Manager with extensive experience in the design and management of 132kV substations and overhead transmission lines within the oil and gas sector.

- The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in design coordination, regulatory compliance, and technical leadership. Experience with Shell Group or similar companies is highly desirable. Prior exposure to Oman or other GCC countries would be a plus.

- Lead and manage all aspects of substation and overhead line design, ensuring technical accuracy and compliance with international engineering standards.

- Oversee the design approval process, ensuring alignment with project specifications, safety requirements, and operational standards.

- Coordinate with engineering teams, consultants, project managers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality designs within project timelines.

- Conduct design reviews, risk assessments, and feasibility studies to optimize system performance and reliability.

- Ensure that projects are executed within scope, budget, and schedule constraints.

- Supervise and mentor a team of design engineers, providing technical guidance and leadership.

- Stay updated with advancements in electrical design software, engineering tools, and industry best practices.

- Implement and enforce quality control measures and regulatory compliance standards for all design processes.

- Collaborate with procurement and construction teams to support design implementation and resolve technical issues during execution.
