Detail-oriented and experienced Deputy Manager - Compliance (QA) to ensure compliance with national and international quality standards and regulations. The role requires in-depth knowledge of BRC, ISO 22000, ISO 9001, FSSAI guidelines, and product testing protocols. The candidate should have hands-on experience in supplier audits, handling customer complaints, and driving continuous improvement in quality and food safety systems.
Qualifications:
- Degree in food technology/ biotechnology, Microbiology, Quality Management, or a related field.
- Certified Internal Auditor for BRC/ISO standards (preferred).
- 8-12 years of relevant experience in Quality Assurance / Compliance within Food industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure implementation and maintenance of BRC, ISO 22000, and ISO 9001 standards across QA & Export operations.
- Conduct supplier audits to assess and ensure compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements.
- Lead investigations and resolution of customer complaints, ensuring root cause analysis and effective corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
- Assist in developing and maintaining QA documentation including SOPs, audit checklists, and compliance reports.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement quality improvement initiatives and ensure food safety and product integrity.
- Support external and internal audits, including customer audits and certification bodies.
- Monitor and review compliance performance metrics and prepare reports for senior management.
- Provide training and awareness on quality standards and compliance procedures across the organization.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with FSSAI regulations, including documentation, licensing, labelling, and periodic updates.
