Role: Senior Manager / DGM Strategic Initiatives (CIOs Office)

About the Role
We are seeking a highly capable and strategic professional to join the CIOs Office as Senior Manager / DGM Strategic Initiatives. This role is designed to act as a strategist and thought partner to the CIO, enabling success across global transformation programs and leadership engagements.
The individual will work closely with the CIO to shape strategy, drive execution, and build leadership relationships across all our global offices. From preparing the CIO for high-impact visits with country and business leaders, to conceptualizing transformation programs, to ensuring follow-through on strategic initiatives this role ensures that the CIOs priorities translate into tangible outcomes.
This is a role for someone who thrives in a Founders Office / Chief-of-Staff type environment: sharp, analytical, execution-focused, and comfortable working directly with senior global stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Executive Engagement & Leadership Relationships
- Plan and orchestrate CIOs global visits ensuring meaningful engagement with country leaders, business heads, and site leaders.
- Build relationship maps, strategic talking points, and follow-up actions that strengthen the CIOs influence and partnerships.
- Act as the liaison between CIO and leadership teams across geographies, ensuring alignment and continuity.
Strategy & Transformation
- Partner with CIO to identify, design, and drive transformation initiatives that impact technology, operations, and organizational culture.
- Develop strategy papers, roadmaps, and execution frameworks for CIO priorities.
- Anticipate industry shifts and bring forward-looking perspectives to CIOs agenda.
Program Management & Impact Tracking
- Ensure execution of strategic initiatives end-to-end: define success metrics, track progress, and report outcomes.
- Prepare business reviews, dashboards, and executive updates for CIO and leadership forums.
- Drive accountability across teams and functions for CIO-sponsored initiatives.
Founders Office Style Support
- Act as the CIOs thought partner, helping refine decisions and preparing CIO for board-level, customer, and global leadership interactions.
- Draft communications, speeches, and narratives that reinforce CIOs transformation vision.
- Ensure CIOs bandwidth is optimized by proactively handling strategy-related preparation, analysis, and execution.
What Were Looking For
Experience
- 10 to 15 years in strategy, management consulting, or senior program management roles.
- Prior experience working in a Founders Office, Chief-of-Staff, or strategy function for a CXO is highly desirable.
- Exposure to global organizations and multi-country stakeholder engagement.
Skillset
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical problem-solving ability.
- Excellent executive communication skills written, spoken, and presentation.
- Ability to manage global stakeholders with executive presence and influence.
- Program and transformation management expertise able to turn strategy into execution.
- Strong business acumen and ability to link technology strategy to business outcomes.
