Key Responsibilities:
Strategic HR Partnership:
- Collaborate with Sales leadership to align HR strategies with business goals
- Support talent reviews, succession planning, and workforce optimization
- Participate in annual business planning from an HR lens
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding:
- Drive recruitment for front-line sales roles (TSEs, ASMs, etc.)
- Lead campus hiring and walk-ins for field sales roles
- Ensure robust onboarding and assimilation of new hires
Performance & Rewards:
- Implement PMS (Performance Management System) and calibrations
- Guide line managers on performance improvement plans (PIPs)
- Partner with rewards team for incentive management and recognition programs
Employee Engagement & Culture:
- Conduct periodic pulse surveys, skip-levels, and engagement interventions
- Drive sales culture initiatives aligned with company values
- Manage grievance handling, POSH sensitization, and field discipline
Compliance & IR:
- Ensure compliance with labour laws for sales employees (PF, ESIC, Shops & Establishments Act, etc.)
- Coordinate with legal/IR teams on field-level compliance issues
Learning & Capability Building:
- Partner with the L&D team to identify and implement capability development for sales force
- Deploy sales-focused learning interventions (e.g., negotiation, route-to-market, leadership grooming)
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong business acumen and understanding of FMCG sales models
- Influencing skills and stakeholder management
- High field orientation (willing to travel extensively)
- Analytical mindset with understanding of HR metrics
- Empathetic, assertive, and culturally sensitive
Qualifications & Experience:
- MBA/PGDM in HR from Tier I/II institute
- 12-15 years of experience in HRBP roles, preferably supporting Sales/Frontline functions
- Prior FMCG industry experience is a strong advantage
- Proficiency in HR systems and MS
