Deputy General Manager - Information Technology

Job Summary:

Client is seeking an experienced and strategic to lead and manage the organization's entire IT landscape for India and cross border entities. This role will oversee the planning, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure, network systems, SAP/ERP platforms, CRP systems, automation tools, cybersecurity, and internal IT governance. The candidate will also be responsible for establishing robust IT policies, ensuring system security, and driving digital transformation aligned with the Company's strategic financial and business goals of the manufacturing business.

Key Responsibilities:

1. IT Strategy & Governance

- Develop and implement an IT strategy aligned with the Company's overall objectives.

- Lead planning, budgeting, and oversight for IT operations and investments.

- Develop and enforce IT policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and internal controls.

- Provide regular reports and dashboards to management on IT health, performance, and risks.

2. IT Operations, Infrastructure and Network Management

- Oversee enterprise-wide IT infrastructure, including data centres, servers, storage, backup systems, and cloud environments.

- Plan, direct, and evaluate the operation of IT systems and electronic data processing (EDP).

- Ensure high availability, scalability, and reliability of networks and IT systems across all facilities.

- Plan and implement network upgrades, hardware refreshes, and infrastructure improvements.

- Oversee the management, maintenance, and support of hardware, software, and networks.

- Ensure high system availability and rapid resolution of issues to minimize downtime.

- Manage vendor relationships and contracts for hardware, software, and networking services.

- Maintain accurate inventory of IT assets.
