
Designation: Deputy General Manager
Education : MBA (HR) / MBA ( Finance) with Postgraduate diploma in HR
Age : Below 40 years
Key Responsibilities:
1. HR Operations & Generalist Activities
- Manage end-to-end HR operations including recruitment coordination, onboarding, induction, transfers, promotions, and exits.
- Ensure timely maintenance of employee records, database management, and HR documentation.
- Oversee employee lifecycle management with a focus on process improvement and compliance.
2. Payroll & Compensation Management
- Manage payroll processing in coordination with the Finance team, ensuring accuracy and timely disbursal.
- Administer compensation and benefits programs in alignment with statutory norms and internal policies.
- Ensure compliance with PF, ESI, gratuity, professional tax, labour laws, etc.
3. Statutory Compliance & Audits
- Monitor and ensure full compliance with labour laws, hospital regulations, and medical education standards.
- Handle internal and external HR audits and provide necessary documentation and reports.
4. Performance Management & Employee Engagement
- Oversee the performance appraisal process and support line managers in goal setting and evaluations.
- Initiate and execute employee engagement activities to enhance workplace satisfaction and retention.
5. Team Management
- Lead and manage a team of 3-4 HR professionals; mentor and develop team capabilities.
- Allocate tasks and responsibilities, monitor performance, and provide regular feedback.
6. HR Analytics & Reporting
- Develop HR dashboards and MIS reports using Excel, HRMS, and data tools.
- Analyze HR metrics such as attrition, retention, payroll costs, etc., and recommend improvements.
7. Technology & Software Proficiency
- Utilize HR software tools effectively for database management, employee self-service, and analytics.
- Should be proficient in MS Word, Excel (including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.), and PowerPoint.
Required Skills and Competencies:
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple stakeholders across functions.
- Knowledge of HR policies, labour laws, and medical industry-specific HR norms.
- Analytical mindset with data-driven decision-making.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage complex situations diplomatically.
Preferred Candidate Profile:
- Must have worked in a Hospital or Medical College/Institute for at least 10 years.
- Should have handled a team of at least 3-4 members for a minimum of 4-5 years.
- Must demonstrate stability and commitment in past roles.
