Job Overview:
- Responsible for managing GST and TDS/TCS compliance across the company, including accurate and timely return filings, tax planning, and maximizing ITC. Handles notices, provides tax guidance to departments, issues SOPs, coordinates with auditors/consultants, and ensures statutory payments. Also prepares MIS reports and circulates weekly GST updates to enhance internal awareness.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Supervision of overall GST/TDS Statutory compliance at Corporate office as well Branches.
2. Responsible for filing within due date with accuracy GST/TDS returns for the company for State- wise GST jurisdiction where company operates and on centralized basis at corporate office for TDS returns with timely statutory payments.
3. Responsible for Indirect tax planning and guidance to user departments conserving fund of the company with maximizing ailment of Input Tax Credits (ITC)
4. To prepare submission replies for notices/letters received from GST authorities and to attend hearing on case to case basis with guidance to staff at concerned branches in case matter.
5. To provide case specific GST guidance and way forward for start of new activities /other issues to specific departments.
6. Issues of SOPs/Checklists for statutory compliance from time to time.
7. MIS Reporting to the management.
8. To coordinate with GST consultants/Statutory auditors/Internal auditors for GST compliance matters.
9. To manage TDS/TCS (Income Tax) compliance on all India basis including issue of TDS certificates to vendors and filing of TDS/TCS returns within due date prescribed by the income tax authority.
10. Issue of weekly GST bulletin to all staff members for GST awareness as directed by the management.
