Deputy CTO (IT-Infrastructure). Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement a comprehensive IT infrastructure strategy aligned with the organization's business objectives.

- Provide expert guidance on technology architecture, infrastructure design, and operational excellence.

- Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies to enhance infrastructure efficiency and security.

- Drive innovation and digital transformation initiatives related to IT infrastructure.

- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.

- Manage data centers, networks, servers, storage systems, and cloud infrastructure.

- Develop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans.

- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

- Lead the planning and execution of large-scale IT infrastructure projects, particularly within the financial services domain.

- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.

- Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams. -

- Manage relationships with technology vendors and service providers.

- Negotiate contracts and ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met.

- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

- Provide regular updates on infrastructure performance and project status.

- Ensure the security of the organization's IT infrastructure and data.

- Implement and maintain security policies and procedures.

- Conduct regular security audits and assessments.

- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards (PCI DSS, ISO 27001).

- Lead and mentor a team of IT infrastructure professionals.

- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

- Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team skills. -

Qualifications:

- First-class Engineering Graduate in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Computer Engineering, Computer Technology, Information Technology, etc.) from a recognized university/institution.

- Preferred: Postgraduate degree in a related field, MBA, PGDM, PGDBM..

- Minimum 15 years of experience in IT business/industry, with extensive experience in managing IT infrastructure and operations.

- Preferred: At least 5 years of experience in implementing large transformational IT projects in major Banks/Financial Institutions.

- Note: Training and teaching experience will not be considered for eligibility.

- Experience must be supported by a certificate issued by the employer.

Essential Skills:

- Deep understanding of IT infrastructure architecture, design, and operations.

- Proven experience in managing large-scale IT infrastructure projects.

- Strong knowledge of networking, data centers, cloud computing, and security technologies.
