Delivery Head - Healthcare

Job Summary:

The Global Life Sciences & Healthcare Vertical Delivery Head will be responsible for ensuring excellence in IT services delivery across the life sciences ecosystem, including pharmaceuticals, medical devices, biotechnology, and healthcare providers. The role requires deep industry expertise, a strong track record in managing large delivery teams, and experience in regulatory-compliant IT services. The candidate should be well-versed in digital transformation, clinical systems, regulatory technology (RegTech), electronic health records (EHR), and next-gen technologies like AI/ML, IoT, and cloud computing.

Key Responsibilities:

Service Delivery & Operational Excellence:

- Oversee the end-to-end delivery of IT services , digital transformation initiatives, and regulatory-compliant solutions for life sciences and healthcare clients worldwide.

- Ensure high-quality service delivery while adhering to industry regulations such as FDA, EMA, HIPAA, GDPR, and GxP compliance.

- Drive automation, process standardization, and operational efficiency using best practices and delivery frameworks.

- Implement governance models, risk mitigation strategies, and compliance frameworks for healthcare and life sciences IT services.

Client Engagement & Relationship Management:

- Act as a strategic partner to C-level executives, CIOs, CTOs, and business leaders within pharmaceutical, medtech, and healthcare organizations.

Business Growth & P&L Management:

- Drive revenue growth by identifying new opportunities within existing accounts and collaborating with sales teams for account expansion.

- Own and manage the P&L ($ 150+ million) for the life sciences & healthcare vertical, ensuring profitability and cost efficiency.

Technology & Digital Transformation:

- Stay ahead of industry trends in digital health, AI/ML precision medicine, IoT for medical devics and cloud-based healthcare platforms.

- Partner with solution architects to develop innovative IT solutions , in areas like drug discovery ,clinical trials, supply chain and telemedicine.

- Drive digital transformation initiatives

Team Leadership & Talent Development:

- Lead, mentor, and scale global delivery teams to drive a high-performance culture.

- Ensure talent development, upskilling, and certification programs for emerging healthcare and life sciences technologies.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Life Sciences, Healthcare, Engineering, Computer Science, or Business. MBA preferred.

- Experience: 20+ years in IT services delivery, with at least 6+ years in a leadership role managing large healthcare or life sciences accounts.

- Strong understanding of life sciences, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, medical devices, and healthcare providers.

- Experience in healthcare IT, digital health solutions, and regulatory compliance frameworks.
