About the Role:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Data Scientist to join our team and contribute to delivering data-driven solutions that are core to Group Operations strategy.

This role involves working on real-world applications of Machine Learning (ML), Natural Language Processing (NLP), and Decision Optimization (DO), while collaborating with business and technical teams to build predictive and prescriptive models.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Objectives:

- Deliver, build, and maintain data-driven solutions aligned with Group Operations strategy.

- Work with senior leadership to define and refine AI strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals.

- Identify and prioritize high-value AI use cases, and develop business cases including ROI analysis.

Core Business Functions:

- Design ML, NLP, and DO models and algorithms for advanced analytics.

- Optimize feature engineering, model tuning, and hyperparameter selection to boost performance.

- Perform statistical modeling and analytics on both structured and unstructured datasets.

- Collaborate with software engineers to integrate and deploy AI-powered applications.

- Architect end-to-end AI solutions with a focus on scalability, performance, and business impact.

- Contribute to data architecture and assist in developing new data definitions as needed.

Stakeholder Engagement:

- Engage with internal stakeholders, including COO Business, CDO, clients, and 3rd parties.

- Present insights and recommendations in a clear, actionable manner to senior decision-makers.

Required Skills & Experience:

Technical Expertise:

- Real-world ML, NLP, and DO project experience using Python or R.

- Strong experience in SQL, NoSQL, and data architecture.

- Hands-on with platforms like Windows Server, Azure, AWS, and Git.

- Software development experience using .NET Framework or Java.

- Strong data analysis skills using Hive, Spark, R, Python, Dremio, MicroStrategy, and Tableau.

Analytical & Documentation Skills:

- Proficient in advanced analytics and statistical modeling techniques.

- Skilled in requirement gathering and documentation (Use Cases, User Stories, Gap Analysis, etc.

- Strong knowledge in business process/data modeling using Visio, Enterprise Architect, or similar tools.

Soft Skills:

- Excellent problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.

- Effective communication and workshop facilitation abilities.

- Ability to translate complex technical outputs into business language.
