Data Analyst/Financial Analyst

Job Description:

We are hiring a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst / Financial Analyst with a strong foundation in data management and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will work closely with the finance and operations teams to extract insights, build reports, and support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collect, clean, and analyze large financial and operational data sets.

- Prepare financial models, dashboards, and performance reports using Excel and other tools

- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

- Generate insights and recommendations to optimize cost and revenue performance.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and implement data-driven solutions.

- Maintain data integrity and streamline data flow and reporting processes.

- Support ad-hoc analysis and management reporting requests.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.

- Minimum 2 years of experience in data analysis or financial analysis.

- Proficiency in Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Power Query, etc.)

- Strong understanding of financial metrics, budgeting, and forecasting.

- Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau is a plus.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
