Department: Human Resources.

Reports to: Founder/ Director.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and proactive HR Manager to lead, monitor, and innovate across multiple HR functions, including onboarding, employee engagement, payroll, compliance, and policy/process development.

The ideal candidate will be hands-on with HR systems (preferably Keka), strong in employee relations, and capable of driving strategic HR initiatives aligned with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

Onboarding & Employee Experience

- Monitor and ensure a seamless onboarding process, from documentation to orientation.

- Conduct and monitor onboarding assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of training and induction.

- Oversee asset allocation and management for new joiners.

- Provide employee support by handling queries, resolving issues, and driving innovative

approaches to enhance employee experience.

Policies & Processes

- Lead the design, development, and implementation of HR policies in alignment with company culture and compliance requirements.

- Build and standardize HR processes to ensure efficiency, consistency, and scalability.

- Develop and maintain organizational hierarchy structures, ensuring clarity in reporting lines

and role responsibilities.

HR Systems & Reporting

- Drive the adoption and utilization of Keka HRMS to its full potential across payroll, leave, performance, and reporting modules.

- Prepare and lead HR reports for management, covering workforce data, attrition, and engagement.

- Conduct report analysis, identify gaps, and implement improvements for data-driven HR decision-making.

Payroll & Compliance

- Oversee end-to-end payroll management, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

- Ensure statutory compliance with TDS, PF, ESIC, and other labor laws.

- Monitor adherence to compliance frameworks and regulatory updates.

- Uphold the Code of Conduct (COC) across all employee levels, ensuring fair and ethical workplace practices.

Performance & Employee Relations

- Support and participate in increment meetings, providing inputs based on performance,

market trends, and organizational policies.

- Drive HR Connect initiatives to strengthen employee engagement, culture, and

communication.

- Serve as a trusted advisor to management and employees on HR-related matters.

Qualifications & Skills

- Bachelors/Masters degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

- 5+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2+ years in a managerial role.

- Strong knowledge of HR operations, payroll, and statutory compliance.

- Hands-on experience with HRMS (preferably Keka).

- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and people management skills.

- Ability to lead policy/process building initiatives and foster innovation in HR practices.
