About the Role:

Our client, a rapidly expanding global technology company committed to innovation and customer-centric solutions, delivers cutting-edge products and services across international markets. Founders of the company have 25+ years of experience each in building products and leading engineering organizations at leading companies in Silicon valley.

They are seeking a Country Manager to oversee and grow their technical operations in India. This senior leadership role is ideal for a highly accomplished professional with a robust engineering background and a proven history of developing and scaling multi-level technical teams in fast-paced, high-growth settings.

The successful candidate will possess deep operational rigor, an eye for talent, and a passion for culture building. Although this is not a hands-on coding role, the position requires someone who can confidently evaluate and guide technical decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and scale multi-disciplinary technical teams, including engineering, QA, DevOps, and others, across multiple management levels.

- Leverage a strong engineering background to guide team structure, technical strategy, and resource allocation.

- Cultivate a high-performance, collaborative, and values-driven culture.

- Manage the recruitment strategy and execution-attract, assess, hire and retain top talent.

- Drive operational excellence with meticulous attention to detail and process discipline.

- Develop effective organizational structures and leadership pipelines to support team growth.

- Uphold a high standard for talent quality and output across all functions.

- Communicate fluently and effectively in English with both local and global stakeholders.

- Exhibit high emotional intelligence, leadership maturity, and people development skills.

- Embrace an ownership mindset-take pride and accountability for outcomes.

- Operate pragmatically in a fast-paced, ever-evolving business environment.

Ideal Profile:

- 12+ years of experience in technical, managerial leadership roles, including experience managing managers

- Strong academic credentials in engineering or related technical fields

- Experience building teams and operations from the ground up

- Proven ability to scale high-performing organizations and drive results

- Exceptional organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
