- Responsible for setting up and maintenance of accurate process cost information, reconciliation of standard costs to actual costs, maintenance of perpetual inventory system, participating in the month end close and budgeting process, and day-to-day operations and reporting requirements.

- Responsible for developing/maintaining an effective cost accounting system to reduce costs and improve overall profitability.

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Preparation Projected & Actual EBIDA across all the manufacturing units.

- Process Cost accounting - responsible for the accurate reporting of Cost of Goods Manufactured and Sold.

- Actual Material Cost vs Standard Material Cost & Yield Analysis

- Analysis of monthly performance of profit parameters and conducting variance analysis against budget

- Segment wise MIS Reporting: Product segment, Geographic Segment etc

- Actively participate in the annual budgeting process by providing updated cost information across different product lines.

- Coordination with finance department and internal/external auditors

- Reconciliation of inventory balances.

- Provide accurate and timely financial information including actual product costs and standard costs for new products.

- Provide account analysis for assigned accounts and other accounts as necessary.

- Maintain integrity and accuracy of accounting system.

- Any other duties as assigned.

Qualification and Experience:

1. ICWA with 15 years of post qualification cost accounting experience in the manufacturing industry chemical industry is highly desired. Thorough knowledge of cost accounting principles, systems, and procedures

2. Examine and verify financial documents.

3. Demonstrate good work paper and analytical techniques.

4. Communicate financial information with department managers.

5. Exercise independent judgment within established systems and procedures

6. Prepare a variety of financial statements, reports and analysis timely and accurately.

7. Establish and maintain effective internal and external working relationships
