Job Title: Cost Manager
Experience Required: 7-8 Years
Background: Cost Management - Pre & Post Contracts
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead estimation and cost planning/budgeting activities, including presenting final cost plans to clients and securing approvals.
- Develop procurement strategies and manage the end-to-end procurement process: pre-qualification, RFP preparation, techno-commercial proposal analysis, vendor selection, contract preparation, and award.
- Apply value engineering techniques at project inception in collaboration with the design team and client.
- Prepare and present monthly cost vs. expenditure reports and audit reports.
- Develop and submit quarterly Cost to Complete (CTC) reports.
- Review and validate quantity take-off (QTO) and Bar Bending Schedules (BBS).
- Certify monthly contractor interim invoices.
- Review and validate FOC material reconciliations against actual receipts.
- Prepare and maintain variation statements for variation orders.
- Conduct rate analysis, market rate justifications, budget estimates, contract pricing, and vendor bill finalization.
