Corporate Lawyer

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and business-savvy Corporate Lawyer to provide legal advice and support on a wide range of corporate, commercial, and compliance matters.

The Corporate Lawyer will work closely with senior management, business units, and external stakeholders to safeguard the companys legal interests and enable strategic growth.

- Advise on corporate law matters including incorporations, mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and restructuring.

- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, agreements, and legal documents.

- Ensure compliance with corporate governance standards, laws, and regulations.

- Support board meetings, shareholder resolutions, and company secretarial requirements.

- Provide legal risk assessments and recommendations for business transactions.

- Manage legal aspects of fundraising, investments, and securities compliance.

- Represent the company in legal proceedings, arbitrations, and negotiations when required.

- Liaise with external counsel, regulators, and government authorities.

- Monitor changes in corporate and commercial law, advising leadership on implications.

- Conduct internal training on legal and compliance issues.

- Proven experience as a Corporate Lawyer, Legal Counsel, or Associate in a law firm.

- Strong knowledge of corporate law, contract law, and regulatory frameworks.

- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.

- Ability to manage multiple transactions and deadlines.

- Strong business acumen and problem-solving abilities.

- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
