Key Responsibilities:
Content Strategy Development:
- Create a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with business goals, customer needs, and market trends.
- Define content objectives, audience personas, messaging, and content formats.
Content Creation & Planning:
- Oversee content production across various channels (website, blog, social media, email newsletters, etc.), ensuring it is on-brand, relevant, and optimized for SEO.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Work with the marketing, design, product, and SEO teams to ensure the content is visually appealing, aligned with brand guidelines, and optimized for search engines.
Content Calendar Management:
- Develop and maintain a content calendar that aligns with product launches, marketing campaigns, and seasonal events.
- Ensure content deadlines are met consistently.
Audience Research & Insights:
- Conduct regular audience research and gather insights to ensure content resonates with target personas.
- Use data to refine and optimize content strategies.
SEO Optimization:
- Implement SEO best practices to ensure content ranks highly on search engines and drives organic traffic.
- Collaborate with the SEO team to identify keywords and track performance.
Content Distribution:
- Work with the social media and email marketing teams to ensure the content is effectively distributed across the right channels and reaches the intended audience.
Performance Tracking & Analytics:
- Analyze content performance using tools like Google Analytics, social media insights, and other relevant metrics to assess ROI and make data-driven recommendations.
Content Optimization:
- Regularly update and refresh older content to maintain its relevance and effectiveness.
- Test and refine content formats for continuous improvement.
Brand Voice & Consistency:
- Ensure all content aligns with the brands voice, tone, and style guidelines.
- Maintain consistency across all content touchpoints.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience: 5 to 7 years of experience in content strategy, content marketing.
- Education: Masters degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- Writing Skills: Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with an eye for detail. Ability to create compelling and concise content for diverse audiences.
- Strategic Thinking: Strong strategic thinking with a clear understanding of how content can align with business objectives, customer needs, and overall marketing strategy.
- Content Management Systems (CMS): Experience using CMS platforms like WordPress, HubSpot, or similar.
