Content Sales Lead - OTT.

Location: Mumbai.

Experience: 7+ years in Content Sales, Distribution, or Business Development in the OTT/Streaming industry.

Job Overview:


- Our Client is looking for a dynamic and well-connected Content Sales Lead - OTT to drive content licensing, syndication, and revenue generation from streaming platforms.

- The ideal candidate should have strong relationships with key OTT players, a strategic mindset, and expertise in content sales, digital distribution, and deal structuring.

Key Responsibilities:

OTT Sales & Licensing: Lead content sales efforts by pitching and negotiating deals with global and Indian OTT platforms (SVOD, AVOD, TVOD, FAST Channels).

Content Monetization: Develop monetization strategies for feature films, web series, and other content, ensuring maximum revenue potential.

Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with content acquisition teams at major OTT platforms.

Market Intelligence: Track industry trends, platform content strategies, and competitor activities to identify sales opportunities.

Deal Structuring & Negotiation: Close licensing deals, ensuring favorable commercial terms.

Collaboration: Work closely with production, marketing, and legal teams to ensure seamless deal execution and content delivery.

Revenue Optimization: Explore secondary markets such as international syndication, in-flight entertainment, and digital aggregators.

Data & Reporting: Maintain a strong pipeline of sales opportunities and provide regular reports on deal status and revenue performance.

Qualifications & Requirements:.

Experience: 7+ years in content sales, and licensing within the OTT ecosystem.

Network: Strong existing relationships with content buyers at leading OTT platforms.

Negotiation Skills: Proven ability to structure and close high-value content deals.

Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of OTT revenue models, audience preferences, and digital consumption trends.

Strategic Thinker: Ability to identify new revenue opportunities and expand digital footprint.

Communication Skills: Strong presentation and storytelling skills for pitching content to partners.
