Role Overview:
- We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Consultant - Consumer to join our dynamic consulting team.
- This role requires a professional with a strong understanding of consumer-driven industries, including Retail, FMCG, Textile, and Manufacturing, to execute research and consulting assignments for clients.
- The selected candidate will play a key role in strategic decision-making by conducting market assessments, financial feasibility studies, due diligence, and industry benchmarking.
- They will work closely with corporate clients, investors, and financial institutions to evaluate market opportunities, assess business feasibility, and develop strategic recommendations.
- Candidates with prior experience in strategy consulting, investment banking, market research, and business analysis within consumer sectors will be given preference.

Key Responsibilities:
Industry Research & Market Assessments:
- Conduct in-depth sectoral analysis, identifying key market trends, demand-supply dynamics, and macroeconomic interlinkages.
- Perform market and demand assessment studies, analyzing growth drivers, competition landscape, and emerging opportunities in consumer-related industries.
- Develop business intelligence frameworks to predict sectoral shifts and regulatory changes affecting the Retail, FMCG, Textile, and Manufacturing industries.
Business & Strategy Consulting:
- Assist clients in market expansion, opportunity identification, business planning, and commercial due diligence.
- Develop go-to-market (GTM) strategies, evaluate business viability, and provide recommendations on geographical and product diversification.
- Work with companies on cost optimization, operational efficiency improvements, and financial modeling to support strategic decision-making.
- Provide sector-specific business insights, helping clients navigate industry challenges and capitalize on emerging trends.
Financial Feasibility & Due Diligence:
- Build and maintain financial models, conducting financial viability assessments for projects.
- Analyze key financial metrics, including Project IRR, Equity IRR, NPV, DSCR, ICR, to evaluate bankability and return on investment.
- Conduct commercial due diligence and risk assessments for private equity firms, investment banks, and manufacturing players exploring new business ventures.
Thought Leadership & Industry Engagement:
- Develop industry reports, whitepapers, and research articles to showcase thought leadership and market expertise.
- Represent the firm at industry seminars, conferences, and panel discussions, actively engaging with key stakeholders.
- Deliver presentations and strategic insights to clients, leadership teams, and internal committees.
Client & Stakeholder Management:
- Engage directly with corporate clients, investment firms, and market participants to gather intelligence and develop strategic insights.
- Build strong professional relationships with industry experts, policymakers, and regulatory bodies to enhance research credibility.
- Work closely with senior management and internal teams to ensure high-quality deliverables and timely project execution.
Report Writing & Data Analytics:
- Author detailed reports, strategic recommendations, and executive summaries for clients and internal teams.
- Utilize data analytics tools to extract meaningful insights and transform complex datasets into actionable business intelligence.
- Develop competitive benchmarking frameworks, assessing industry performance relative to key competitors.
Qualifications & Experience:
Education:
- MBA or Chartered Accountant (CA) from a recognized institution.
Experience:
- 1-3 years of consulting experience in consumer, manufacturing, technology, or allied sectors.
- Previous experience in investment banking, private equity, market research, or corporate strategy is preferred.
