Job Description: Area Business Head Siemens Software & Security.

Location: Bangalore.

Reports to: Ankur Vishnoi.

Business Unit: Enterprise Business Siemens Software & Cybersecurity.

Grade: 1, AM.

Position Summary:

This role is responsible for driving Siemens Software & Security solution sales in an assigned territory by managing and expanding a high-performing channel partner network.


The position requires strong knowledge of industrial software applications like PLM, CAD/CAM, MES, Simulation, and Industrial Security.

The role involves building relationships with key partners and enterprise customers, creating a robust sales pipeline, and ensuring revenue and margin targets are met.

Key Responsibilities:

- Own territory-level sales for Siemens Software portfolio through indirect (channel) and direct

(end-customer) engagement.

- Identify and onboard new channel partners with experience in industrial/engineering software, ensuring regional penetration.

- Drive solution selling for Siemens platforms like Teamcenter, NX, Simcenter, Opcenter, and MindSphere.

- Conduct joint sales meetings, solution demos, and value-based selling in manufacturing, auto, aerospace, and industrial verticals.

- Deliver monthly revenue forecasts, sales funnel updates, and AOP tracking.

- Meet quarterly targets for new pipeline generation, gross revenue, and gross margin.

- Build strong working relationships with key decision-makers at partner and customer organizations.

- Ensure timely proposal submissions, deal pricing, and follow-up for receivables.

- Conduct weekly business reviews with partners and guide them on technical and commercial positioning.

- Champion cybersecurity and industrial network security solutions such as SINEC, SCALANCE, and TIA Portal.

KPIs & Dimensions:

- Assigned region sales target (in INR Cr).

- Siemens software product pipeline & conversion ratio.

- Active channel partner performance.


- Gross margin & receivables performance.

- Penetration into strategic verticals (Auto, Industrial, Aerospace, Energy).

Candidate Profile: Essential Qualifications & Experience: E / B.

- 7-8 years in B2B sales of engineering / industrial software.

- Strong knowledge of PLM, CAD/CAM, MES, IIoT, Cybersecurity, and Factory Automation software.

- Proven track record in channel development and account management.

- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, CRM tools.

Desirable Attributes:

- Experience in working with Siemens Digital Industries Software or competitors (Dassault, PTC, Autodesk).

- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and closing skills.

- Self-driven, target-oriented, and high on ownership.

- Able to work in fast-paced and cross-functional environments.
