The company's marketing activities cover the length and breadth of the country through a robust logistics network of 23 C&F agents and about 800 stockists. Comed Chemicals Limited operates overseas offices in Kenya, Zambia, Sri Lanka, and Dubai, continually expanding its reach. The corporate office is located in Vadodara, Gujarat, supported by over 100 professionals managing various functions.
We are seeking an experienced and strategic General Manager Marketing (Pharma) to lead our marketing efforts and drive business growth. This is a key leadership position responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies, managing a high-performing team, and ensuring the achievement of sales and market expansion goals. The ideal candidate will bring deep knowledge of pharmaceutical marketing and a proven track record of success in similar roles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee the development of comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Conduct market planning and in-depth market research to identify new opportunities and optimize current efforts.
- Drive sales initiatives in collaboration with the sales team to meet or exceed revenue targets.
- Manage, mentor, and grow the marketing team, ensuring high performance and continuous development.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including sales, product development, and regulatory to ensure smooth execution of marketing plans.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to adjust marketing strategies accordingly.
- Prepare and manage budgets for marketing projects and campaigns.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and other networking opportunities.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Master's or Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry with a focus on marketing and/or sales.
- Proven expertise in market planning, market research, and marketing management.
- Demonstrated success in team leadership and achieving sales targets.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
