Collection Manager - Banking

Job Summary:

- The Collection Manager will be responsible for leading and managing a team of 20 Field Officers, driving collections, achieving recovery targets, and ensuring compliance with company policies.

- This role requires strong leadership skills, strategic planning, and a deep understanding of collections operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership:

- Lead and manage a team of 20 Field Officers to achieve collection targets.

- Monitor team performance, provide guidance, and conduct regular performance reviews.

Collections Management:

- Develop and implement effective collection strategies to meet recovery goals.

- Drive collections and ensure timely recovery of dues.

- Handle escalations and resolve customer disputes efficiently.

Compliance & Reporting:

- Ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.

- Maintain accurate records and prepare regular reports on collection activities.

Training & Development:

- Provide training and development opportunities for team members.

- Foster a high-performance culture within the team.

Candidate Requirements:

Education: MBA / Any Graduate.

Experience:

- 4-8 years of experience in collections, preferably in the finance or banking sector.

- Proven experience in managing a team of field officers.

Skills & Competencies:

- Strong leadership and team management skills.

- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.

- In-depth knowledge of collections processes and compliance requirements.

- Ability to handle escalations and resolve issues effectively
