About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Growth Marketer (Manager / Sr. Manager) to spearhead the next phase of Codeyoung's growth. This role will own full-funnel marketing across web and app channels (except running performance marketing ads), with a sharp focus on scaling adoption and monetization of our Codeyoung app. You will be responsible for SEO, lifecycle/email marketing, CRO, analytics, and app store optimization while guiding associates and collaborating with product and performance teams.
The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution, thrives in fast-paced environments, and is motivated to build scalable growth engines in the edtech space.
Key Responsibilities
Growth Marketing & Funnel Ownership
- Drive funnel optimization across paid, organic, and referral channels.
- Collaborate with performance marketing team to improve ROI via funnel diagnosis and CRO.
- Work with stakeholders to define and run structured A/B tests and growth experiments across web and app assets.
SEO & Content Marketing
- Work with the SEO agency to ensure delivery of SEO milestones
- Work with content team to ensure timely release of blogs following all SEO principles and guidelines
- Track performance of blogs and landing pages, ensuring steady traffic and conversion growth.
- Monitor and improve site health (crawl errors, speed, indexation) working with the tech team
Email, CRM & Marketing Automation
- Design and manage lifecycle campaigns for lead nurturing, free trial engagement, reactivation, and upsell.
- Implement advanced segmentation and personalization across email/SMS/WhatsApp.
- Continuously optimize deliverability, open/click rates, and customer journeys.
App Growth & Monetization
- Lead Codeyoung app growth strategy across acquisition, activation, engagement, and retention.
- Drive monetization through subscription tiers, in-app upsells, referral programs, and cohort-based experiments.
- Analyze DAU/MAU, retention, churn, and ARPU metrics to optimize performance.
- Own ASO (App Store Optimization) to increase downloads and rankings.
Data, Reporting & Analytics
- Build and maintain dashboards for leads, funnels, and app KPIs.
- Reconcile data across CRM, GA, ad platforms, and app analytics tools (Firebase, Mixpanel, CleverTap).
- Deliver actionable insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
Leadership & Collaboration
- Mentor and upskill junior associates in SEO, email, and analytics.
- Work cross-functionally with design, tech, content, and product teams to execute campaigns.
- Manage external agencies and ensure ROI from partnerships.
What We're Looking For
- 4-8 years of experience in growth/digital marketing;
- Proven track record in SEO, lifecycle/email marketing, and app growth/monetization.
- Hands-on with tools like SEMrush/Ahrefs, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, HubSpot/Mailchimp, Zapier/Pabbly, Mixpanel, CleverTap, and Google Analytics.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with comfort in Excel/Sheets dashboards.
- Demonstrated success in funnel improvement, app engagement, or monetization experiments.
- Excellent project management and cross-functional leadership abilities.
