Job Summary:
The Cluster Manager - Banca Sales is responsible for managing bancassurance sales through a cluster of bank branches. The role involves building strong relationships with bank personnel, ensuring achievement of sales targets, driving performance of assigned relationship managers (RMs), and maintaining compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development:
- Drive life/general insurance sales through assigned bank branches.
- Achieve business targets across product categories (protection, savings, ULIP, etc.).
- Identify new business opportunities within the bank network.
Team Management:
- Manage and mentor a team of Relationship Managers.
- Monitor RM performance, provide training/coaching, and ensure productivity.
- Conduct regular team reviews and joint sales calls.
Stakeholder Relationship Management:
- Build strong relationships with branch managers and key bank staff.
- Conduct regular meetings with bank leadership to ensure alignment of goals.
- Resolve operational or service-related issues swiftly.
Process & Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to regulatory and company compliance standards.
- Maintain accurate sales MIS and reports.
- Support audits and ensure documentation is up-to-date and accurate.
Training & Development:
- Conduct periodic training and skill development for RMs and bank staff.
- Organize product knowledge sessions, campaigns, and sales contests.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (MBA preferred).
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in insurance/banking/BFSI sales, with at least 2-3 years in a managerial role.
- Experience in bancassurance channel preferred.
