About the Role
As a Cluster Finance Business Partner, you will play a strategic role in driving financial performance and operational efficiency across multiple business divisions within your assigned cluster. You will act as a bridge between finance and business units, enabling data-driven decision-making, ensuring financial control, and facilitating long-term sustainable growth. This role demands strong business acumen, analytical abilities, stakeholder management, and a proactive mindset.

Chartered Accountant (CA) - Mandatory
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Performance Evaluation
- Analyze key financial drivers and track financial performance across clusters.
- Work with business heads to achieve budgeted top-line and bottom-line targets.
- Review actuals vs. budget, perform variance analysis, and provide actionable insights.
- Create monthly/quarterly dashboards and management reports to facilitate decision-making.
2. Business Partnering
- Act as a strategic advisor to business leaders by offering insights that influence critical business decisions.
- Ensure sustainable and profitable growth across all divisions within the cluster.
Core Focus Areas:
(a) Price Increase Implementation: Drive and track the impact of price increases; ensure inventory management aligns with price strategies.
(b) KAM Pricing Evaluation: Provide pricing intelligence to support key account decisions.
(c) P&L Ownership: Analyze zone-wise, HQ-level, and pool-level profitability. Identify areas of cost control and margin enhancement.
(d) Expense Advisory: Monitor ROI of brand expenses; ensure budgetary control and compliance.
(e) Brand Analysis: Review sales and expense data across major brands, identify trends and improvement areas.
(f) Distribution Chain Analysis: Evaluate margins across stockists and retailers; reconcile stock and CnF statements.
(g) Bonus Pay Analysis: Analyze volume growth impact, payout modeling, and sales incentive effectiveness.
(h) Returns & Expiry Control: Implement measures to reduce sales returns and expiries across regions and brands.
(i) Gross Contribution (GC) Improvement: Drive pricing and cost actions to enhance contribution margins.
(j) New Product Launches: Partner in GTM planning, pricing strategy, and profitability modeling.
(k) Credit Control Monitoring: Review and manage receivables, credit limits, and risk exposures.
3. Stakeholder Alignment
- Foster collaboration between Finance, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and other support functions.
- Promote adoption of best practices across business units and geographies.
- Influence key stakeholders with data-backed insights to drive organizational priorities.
4. Simplification & Controls
- Lead finance transformation initiatives including automation, digitization, and process standardization.
- Drive continuous improvement in reporting, forecasting, and control systems.
- Identify and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance.
