
- As a Client Partner, your primary responsibility is to develop and maintain strong relationships with clients across different industries.
- Your role is to act as a trusted advisor to clients, working closely with them to understand their business needs, identify opportunities for growth, address their challenges/pain points, and provide solutions that meet their requirements.
- Deepening client/partner engagements and executing business expansion strategies is at the core of this role.
- The focus will be on successfully scaling offerings and implementing business expansion plans.
- Identifying new business opportunities and building new sales pipelines with a strong mandate to drive profitable growth and footprint expansion will be essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Extensive experience managing retail clients.
- Strong understanding of the enterprise application and retail IT landscape; Digital Commerce experience is a plus.
- Develop and execute strategies to expand existing client relationships.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop solutions that meet client needs, including software development, data analytics, cloud computing, application services, and digital transformation.
- Manage the overall client relationship, ensuring client satisfaction, identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling, and addressing any issues or concerns.
- Provide oversight for all services delivered to the client.
- Offer thought leadership and industry expertise to clients, staying updated on the latest technology trends and innovations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to create and deliver proposals, presentations, and other client-facing materials.
- Manage the financial aspects of client relationships, including forecasting, budgeting, and maintaining margins.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the competitive landscape and key players in the IT services industry.
- Participate in industry events, conferences, and other activities to build a personal brand and network within the technology sector.
Qualifications:
- 8-12 years of successful experience in selling IT services and Digital services, with a focus on offering next-generation solutions across Retail.
- Strong understanding of the IT services industry with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to clients.
- Proven business acumen with a solid grasp of the Retail IT landscape; Digital Commerce experience is preferred.
- Ability to manage both hunting and farming activities in existing accounts.
- A proven, successful, and savvy sales executive with high energy, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build immediate respect and acceptance based on experience and interpersonal skills.
- Comprehensive understanding of targeted industry business environments, issues, and trends affecting technology spending.
- Hands-on executive with the ability to successfully integrate into a high-performing team.
- Strong deal-closing abilities and a track record of building executive-level customer relationships.
- Business acumen and financial (P&L) management skills, with a metrics-driven approach.
- Proven experience managing large global teams, encompassing both technology and delivery perspectives.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation.
- Ability to adapt to changing client needs and market conditions.
- Demonstrated effective leadership and analytical skills.
