We are seeking a visionary and business-oriented Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead our technology strategy and ensure alignment with the company's growth and innovation goals. As a key member of the executive leadership team, the CTO will be responsible for building and driving the overall tech vision, guiding cross-functional teams, and enabling technology to become a core driver of organizational success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and implement the company's long-term technology roadmap aligned with overall business objectives.
- Partner with executive leadership to support digital transformation and future-proof operations.
- Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to guide innovation.
- Build and lead high-performing technology teams with a strong focus on collaboration, accountability, and growth.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, ownership, and transparency across the tech function.
- Mentor engineering and product leadership to ensure scalable and sustainable team development.
- Oversee internal systems, tools, and digital platforms to ensure efficiency, scalability, and security.
- Collaborate with other departments (Product, Marketing, Sales, Operations) to ensure tech solutions meet business needs.
- Implement agile processes and project management best practices to optimize delivery timelines.
- Lead decision-making on software/vendor partnerships, budget planning, and IT governance.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legal, data, and privacy regulations.
- Identify and mitigate technological risks to protect business continuity.
- Communicate complex technological concepts in simple terms to non-technical stakeholders.
- Serve as the spokesperson for the company's technology vision in board meetings, investor discussions, and strategic partnerships.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Minimum 8 years in technology leadership roles, with at least 3 years in a senior decision-making capacity.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in business, engineering, or related fields. MBA is a plus.
- Proven ability to lead, mentor, and scale diverse technical teams.
- Strong business acumen with experience in translating business goals into actionable technology strategies.
- Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
- Comfortable in dynamic, fast-paced, and evolving business environments.
- Track record of driving measurable business outcomes through tech-enabled solutions.
