
Job Objective
Key Responsibilities Areas
- Develop and communicate clear Net Zero goals for the organization, including targets for reducing carbon emissions and achieving sustainability milestones.
- Create and oversee initiatives to reduce the company's carbon footprint, such as adopting renewable energy sources, energy-efficient technologies, and sustainable sourcing practices.
- Regularly track progress toward Net Zero goals and provide transparent reporting to stakeholders.
- Maintain comprehensive records of environmental activities, emissions, waste management, and compliance measures.
- Prepare accurate and timely reports for regulatory agencies, ensuring that all necessary permits, licenses, and certifications are up to date.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify potential safety and compliance issues and take corrective actions.
- Develop and oversee a preventive maintenance program for ETP and WTP plants to minimize downtime.
- Establish effective emergency response plans to address unexpected issues promptly.
- Ensuring environmental compliances is a must.
Role Requirements
Qualifications & Competencies
- Advanced degrees and relevant certifications, such as Certified Environmental Manager (CEM) or Certified Safety Professional (CSP), are preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of environmental regulations and compliance requirements, along with experience in dealing with regulatory agencies.
- Proficiency in project management to oversee sustainability initiatives and plant maintenance projects.
- Ability to assess risks associated with environmental compliance and safety and develop mitigation strategies.
- Familiarity with environmental laws and regulations related to effluent treatment.
