Position Overview:
- A strategic leadership role as a key member of the executive team
- Responsible for defining and executing the overall product strategy for consumer-facing devices
- Oversee the end-to-end development and innovation of hardware and software products designed for B2C audiences
- Ensure a superior customer experience across all product touchpoints, fostering brand loyalty and market differentiation
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement holistic product strategies that encompass hardware design, software integration, and exceptional user experiences tailored for consumers
- Lead the entire product lifecycle from ideation and design to market launch and post-launch enhancements, with a focus on user-centric design and usability
- Conduct market research and analyze consumer feedback to identify emerging trends, needs, and product opportunities in the B2C space
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and customer support, for continuous product improvement based on real customer insights
- Cultivate a culture of innovation and agility within the product team, emphasizing customer satisfaction and delight
- Establish and track KPIs related to product performance, customer engagement, and satisfaction metrics
- Manage overall product budgets, resource allocation, and ROI optimization, ensuring timely delivery within cost targets
- Build, lead, and inspire a high-performing product organization focused on delivering consumer-first device solutions
Qualifications:
- Education:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Design, Business Administration, or related field
MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred
- Experience:
Minimum 10 years in product management or development within device manufacturing, with a strong focus on consumer electronics
At least 10 years in leadership roles managing both hardware and software products, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences
- Technical Expertise:
Demonstrated understanding of consumer device development processes, from design to manufacturing to software integration
Strong grasp of user experience principles specific to B2C products
- Skills:
Proven ability to lead diverse cross-functional teams including hardware, software, marketing, and customer support
Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills
Outstanding communication skills, capable of articulating product vision to stakeholders and customers
