Chief Product & Technology Officer

The Role

The Chief Product & Technology Officer (CPTO) is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving the vision, development, and execution of the company's product and technology roadmap. This role integrates product management and technology functions to deliver innovative, scalable, and customer-centric solutions, aligning with business goals and market needs. The CPTO ensures the seamless collaboration between product, engineering, and design teams to achieve technological excellence and business success.

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy, Monetisation & Management

- Define and execute the company's product vision, strategy, and roadmap.

- Drive innovation and ensure the company remains competitive in the market.

- Lead product lifecycle management from ideation to launch and beyond.

- Own and drive product monetisation strategy, including pricing, packaging, and revenue models, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer value

- Use analytics and customer insights to identify monetisation opportunities and guide roadmap prioritisation toward high-impact, revenue-generating features.

- Collaborate with key stakeholders to align product strategies with business goals.

- Establish and monitor key product metrics to drive continuous improvement.

Technology Leadership

- Develop and execute the company's technology strategy in alignment with business objectives.

- Oversee engineering, software development, and infrastructure to ensure high-quality product delivery.

- Implement best practices for security, scalability, and performance of technology systems.

- Foster a culture of technical excellence, innovation, and agile development.

- Stay ahead of emerging technologies and industry trends to maintain a competitive edge.

Cross-functional Collaboration & Leadership

- Lead and mentor product, engineering, and design teams to enhance productivity and collaboration.

- Work closely with marketing, sales, operations, and customer support teams to ensure seamless product adoption and customer satisfaction.

- Communicate product and technology strategies effectively to internal and external stakeholders.

- Champion a customer-first approach in product and technology decision-making.

Business & Financial Acumen

- Manage budgets for product development and technology investments.

- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, partnerships, and potential acquisitions.

- Ensure alignment of technology investments with business growth and financial objectives.

Qualifications & Skills

- Proven experience (15+ years) in product management and technology leadership roles.

- Strong background in software development, engineering, or technology infrastructure.

- Experience leading cross-functional teams in an agile environment.

- Expertise in product development lifecycle, UX/UI, and customer experience strategies.

- Deep understanding of emerging technologies, cloud computing, and data-driven decision-making.

- Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.

- Prior experience in scaling technology and product organizations is a plus.
